AN AI-NATIVE FILM STUDIO

AIVID Studios is an independent film studio producing original cinematic features made with AI from script to screen. We don't sell software, we don't license tools — we make movies. Our debut feature, AUGUSTUS, is a 90-minute historical epic about the rise of Rome's first emperor, currently in production.

Founded in Kansas City by David Vognild — 25 years of product and creative leadership applied to a new kind of filmmaking. Human vision, AI scale. Every frame is directed. Every scene is a choice.

HOW WE MAKE FILMS

Every frame is directed. Every scene is a choice. Here's what our process looks like, from a blank page to a finished feature.

SCRIPT

Every project starts on the page. Full screenplay, scene structure, character arcs, dialogue — written and directed by hand.

CAST & DESIGN

Characters, costumes, locations, and look are locked before a single frame is generated. Identity sheets, wardrobe references, environment plates — the same pre-production a traditional feature requires.

SHOOT

Every shot is directed. We build each scene with cinematic intent — framing, light, performance, and emotional arc — and review every take before it moves forward.

EDIT

Assembled in DaVinci Resolve by a human editor. Pacing, music, sound design, and color are crafted the same way they always have been.

Founder and director of AIVID Studios. Twenty-five years of product and creative leadership, now turned toward the one thing that's always mattered most to him: telling stories on screen.

AIVID is built on a simple belief — the barrier to making a feature film should be the idea, not the budget. Great stories have always lived in the imaginations of people who could never afford to make them. That changes now.
